The Diocesan Resource Center…
…is located on the first floor of the Diocesan Center at 4 East University Parkway in Baltimore. We are open every Tuesday from 1:00
p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and at other times by appointment.
The Resource Center is overseen by the Christian Formation Council, a working group of laity and clergy who are spiritually committed to the vision of lifelong Christian formation in the Diocese of Maryland. The CFC accomplishes this mission by:
- sharing resources,
- maintaining the Diocesan Resource Center,
- offering nurture, inspiration and support to those doing the work of education and formation
We focus our efforts in four main areas: Faith formation in the home, adult education formation, Bible study & storytelling and leadership development.
The Resource Center is...
- A place for people to access information vital to the growth and development of their ministries;
- A hospitable place for people to visit, meet and browse.
- A place to meet for the sharing of knowledge & experience and the loan of materials
The resource center was developed in accordance with the Diocesan directions on Christian Education and sharing resources. Our mission is to
“…develop manage and share resources to extend the Kingdom of God among all people, and to support &
encourage local congregations to be centers of learning for people of all ages.”
We are committed to helping all people in the lifelong journey of Christian formation; however, we reserve the right to give preference in the loan of materials and equipment to individuals and congregations of the Diocese of Maryland.
